Summary: VB Spine is a growing medical device organization seeking detail-oriented students for their Finance Intern position. Interns will support core accounting and financial operations while gaining real-world experience in financial reporting, analysis, and business processes. Responsibilities: - Assist in creating and analyzing accounting statements and reports used in the preparation of financial statements - Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation - Perform balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned by management - Help develop and improve finance and accounting processes and documentation - Create ad hoc templates to improve utilization of ERP systems and financial tools - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, projections, and planning activities - Communicate variances versus financial targets to management and partner teams - Assist with the development and maintenance of annual budgets Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field - Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based sponsorship - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving work environment - Ability to exercise independent judgment while working collaboratively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Demonstrated leadership qualities and business acumen - Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor Required Skills: Financial reporting, Accounting principles, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Analytical skills
