About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Content Manager to lead day-to-day digital content management and web publishing for a high-visibility federal program. This role combines direct content execution, team leadership, and workflow coordination. The Content Manager will manage incoming requests, coordinate team assignments, and personally complete content updates, including content uploads, data changes, and map updates, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing a steady flow of detailed tasks in a ticket-based environment. They bring excellent customer service and communication skills, work effectively with a small, dedicated content team and key stakeholders, and serve as the team's primary point of accountability for day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and an obsession with quality, experience with high-visibility sites or projects, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. The details really matter on this one, so a thorough reviewer who takes pride in getting things right would be a great fit.

• Review and quality-check all updates for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and compliance with federal and agency requirements.

• Provide guidance and coaching to team members, supporting consistent execution and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with content owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, resolve questions, and coordinate updates.
• Maintain content standards, documentation, version control, and established publishing and review procedures.
• Handle sensitive government information securely and in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve content workflows, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to content strategy, governance, audits, and performance analysis as program needs evolve.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
