Role & responsibilities
- Assist oncologists in patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Take patient medical history and perform basic physical assessments.
- Review and monitor laboratory reports, imaging results, and diagnostic tests.
- Support doctors during oncology procedures and clinical treatments.
- Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other cancer treatments.
- Identify and report treatment side effects or complications to the oncologist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, pharmacists, and other departments for patient care.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
