We have an opportunity for a Research Scientist to join our talented and diverse team with a wide range of expertise in algorithm development, for current and future medical devices. As a member of our R&D team, you will take part in algorithm prototyping and commercialization using technologies like C++, Python, or CUDA.

Main Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and implementalgorithms in the context of finding optimal, patient-specific radiotherapy treatments for cancer patients.
Maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.
Publish and present research findings and algorithmic innovations in peer-reviewed journals, at international conferences, or through invention disclosures.
Foster a collaborative development environment by participating in team-wide technical discussions and contributing to the continuous improvement of our products.
Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to validate algorithm performance and gather feedback for continuous model improvement.
Contribute to tasks of the application development lifecycle which are outside of your immediate role, such as risk management and complaint investigations.
Skills & Experience:
Master’s Degree in physics, biomedical sciences, mathematics, or similar field with relevant experience, or a doctoral degree in a related field.
Experience in algorithm development for scientific problems. A solid understanding of optimization methods is considered an asset.
Proficiency in programming languages used in scientific computing, such as C++, Python, or CUDA.
Experience with collaborative software development practices, e.g., version control, peer reviews, and shared codebases.
Ability to create concise and accurate documentation for internal purposes, and for the scientific community.
Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal.
