Summary: Vantage Group is a global leader in airport and transportation investment, development, management, and advisory services. Vantage Futures is seeking a highly motivated intern to support their investment team, focusing on venture capital within the transportation and infrastructure sectors, assisting with deal sourcing, due diligence, and market research. Responsibilities: - Identify and research emerging startups aligned with Vantage Futures’ investment themes - Build and help maintain internal databases of venture opportunities and pipeline tracking - Track industry trends across mobility, infrastructure technology, and sustainability - Conduct landscape analysis on sectors relevant to transportation innovation - Support preliminary evaluation of startup opportunities - Assist with company research, business model analysis, and market sizing - Prepare investment summaries and briefing materials for internal discussions - Conduct competitive benchmarking and technology analysis - Participate in meetings with founders, venture funds, and industry partners - Attend select industry events, demo days, and conferences on behalf of Vantage Futures - Assist with outreach to startups and ecosystem participants - Support development of internal presentations and investment memos - Assist with preparation of materials for leadership and investment committees - Collecting and preparing information for meetings with outside stakeholders Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in undergraduate, or post-graduate, degree - Actively pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, communications business, economics, or related fields - Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and emerging technologies - Curiosity about transportation infrastructure, mobility, or sustainability - Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with an interest in networking and engaging with founders and industry professionals - Analytical mindset with strong research capabilities - Comfortable with preparing presentations and communicating insights to internal teams - Organization, attention to details and planning skills crucial for multi-tasking while prioritizing and executing tasks - Strong analytical skills that are coupled with interpersonal and relationship building abilities - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion - Exceptional attention to detail and time management - Strong communication and organizational skills for interactions at all levels of management - Ability to multitask in a busy work environment - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment - A preference for working with an entrepreneurial, fast-paced team - Demonstrated business acumen coupled with strategic, analytical and creative skills - An ability to manage multiple projects, without compromising quality - A passion for learning - Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week) for a minimum of four months Preferred Qualifications: - Candidates with availability beyond the summer months are preferred - Prior work, extracurricular or school project experience working with a team to achieve a desired outcome Required Skills: Venture capital, Market research, Analytical skills
