Summary: Vanguard is one of the world’s leading investment firms, and they are seeking an intern for their College to Corporate Internship Program in Risk & Security. In this role, you will drive security strategies, support client outcomes, and gain hands-on experience in security and risk management. Responsibilities: - Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors - Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success - Gain hands-on experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologies - Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environments - Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers - Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship Required Qualifications: - In pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required - Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting - Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations - Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred Required Skills: Security strategy, Risk mitigation, Digital ethics, Agile methodologies, LEAN methodologies, Security analysis, Threat analysis, Fraud mitigation
