Summary: Vanderlande is a leading company in material handling systems, and they are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer Intern. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Responsibilities: - Assist in the creation and modification of AutoCAD 2D drawings for approval and installation purposes - Assist with data analysis related to components, accuracy, and potential cost improvements - Collaborate with procurement teams to research and source components from third-party suppliers - Assist in resolving issues, adding, or removing items within the engineering tooling software and programs - Contribute to the development and maintenance of CAD blocks and tool palettes - Provide support to project teams on various tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Effective communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering - Knowledge of material handling systems - Experience with data analysis tools Required Skills: AutoCAD Important Skills: Data Analysis, Procurement Support, Engineering Tooling Software
