Warehouse Associate at Vance Outdoors, Inc. in Heath, OH

Summary: Vance Outdoors, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. The role is primarily responsible for shipping online orders, replenishing warehouse inventory, and pulling transfers for various storefronts while maintaining accurate, organized, and compliant operations.

Responsibilities:
- All orders are to be filled according to both operating and compliance standards
- Ensuring that orders and products included in each order are processed, packaged, and shipped in an accurate manner to comply with the state/jurisdiction the package is being shipped
- Making sure that each order has all the correct items listed on the packing list/paperwork provided
- Replenish incoming product into correct warehouse locations
- Pull transfers as directed by transfer request
- Organize backstock and full depleted picking locations
- Keep all areas clean and organized
- Maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies
- Arrive on time ready for your workday

- Help to develop and assist with the training of new team members

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have above-average knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Point of Service Systems; Internet Software
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
