Financial Accountant | Financial Accounting | Noida

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, financial reporting and Month-End Close.

Experience supporting US clients or international accounting teams will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger records.
• Prepare and post Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments and accounting adjustments.
• Perform Bank, Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Review Trial Balance and investigate unusual balances.
• Perform account and variance analysis.
• Support AP, AR, Fixed Asset and Intercompany accounting activities where required.
• Support Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Close.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support process improvement initiatives related to financial accounting and reporting.

Key Software

Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, QuickBooks, BlackLine, Power BI; experience with other ERP or accounting systems will also be considered.

Accounting & Financial Reporting Knowledge

Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Variance Analysis, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, US GAAP, IFRS, Internal Controls, Audit Documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / Accounting or a related field.
• CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
• 3-8 years of relevant Financial Accounting / GL / R2R experience.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, reconciliations and Month-End Close.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting US or international accounting clients preferred.
