o Assists with the development, review and communication of various practices and policies.
o Participates in HR communication initiatives and special projects.
o Assists with the recruiting and onboarding process.
o Assists with the development and distribution of quarterly reports to corporate and refinery management.
o Researches employee complaints and provides recommendations to management for resolution.
o Prepares routine and ad hoc reports as needed.
o Assists with the coordination and administration of special events, such as company and/or site-wide recreational activities and employee recognition events.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
Positions may be available at any of the following locations:
o Norco, LA - St. Charles Refinery
o Houston, TX - Houston Refinery
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources or related business field required.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Graduation dates of August 2026 through May 2027 required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer required (May 18- August 7).
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
