Job Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
To monitor the day-to-day performance of external property management agents to URA standards and specifications
To review the quotations and follow up on tendering exercises including documentation, tender opening, work completion and defects rectification for property management, maintenance and repairs works
To prepare and monitor works orders carried out by external property service managers, their satisfactory completion of building maintenance works on time, within budget and in compliance to the specifications
To preliminarily review technical drawings, fitting out plans and general building plans
To support the facility management of URA own properties including but not limited to with focus on asset enhancement and other new technology applications to upgrade facility management standard
To carry out other duties as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time
Degree holder preferably in Housing Studies, Facility / Property Management, Building Technology, Building Services, Surveying or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant field
Prior experience on facilities management and tenancy management in commercial accommodation, and relevant professional qualification such as membership in surveying or or housing management will be an added advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with analytical mindset
