Job Description
Summary: Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Associates, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team. The Patient Care Coordinator supports clinic growth through excellence in execution of the practice management role and patient intake processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collect all money due at the time of service
- Convert referrals into evaluations
- Schedule patient visits
- Customer Service
- Create an inviting clinic atmosphere
- Make all welcome calls
- Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience
- Manage schedule efficiently
- Manage document routing
- Manage personal overtime
- Manage non-clinical documentation
- Manage deposits
- Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting
- Monitor clinic inventory
- Attend any required training with the Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates
- Complete quarterly compliance training
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership
- Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision
- As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills
