Job Description
Job Summary
The Contract Officer at UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance, ensuring all agreements align with company policies and legal requirements.
Job Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and partnership contracts.
* Ensure all contracts comply with UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd's internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and procurement teams, to gather requirements and facilitate contract finalization.
* Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract management system, including tracking key dates, renewals, and amendments.
* Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing proactive advice and solutions to management.
* Assist in resolving contractual disputes and ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions.
* Prepare reports on contract status, key performance indicators, and compliance for management review.
* Stay informed about relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting contracts and advise on necessary adjustments.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management or a similar role, preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
* Strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with contract management software.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
