Summary: The University of Washington hosts Dr. Nwabufo’s research program, which develops technologies and methods based on pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry, and engineering to improve disease diagnosis, drug development, and treatment. The research intern will support biomedical device development and precision medicine research through full stack software development, hardware/software integration, network provisioning, and image analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Software development using the React ecosystem, Node.js/Express, MongoDB, API etc
- Hardware/software integration using Raspberry Pi, ESP32, OpenCV etc
- Network portability via captive portal Wi-Fi provisioning etc
- Image acquisition, processing, and analysis
