Job Description
Summary: The University of Pikeville is seeking a Summer Internship for an IT AV Events & Support Technician Level III. The role involves providing expert-level AV and IT support for live events and classroom technology, leading technical operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical operations for high-profile events and classroom support, ensuring seamless AV/IT performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues in real time across classrooms and event spaces
- Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and event partners to assess needs and deliver professional support
- Mentor and train junior student staff, promoting growth in technical proficiency and workplace readiness
- Collaborate with the AV/IT team to align daily operations with broader campus goals and service excellence
- Model professionalism and leadership, setting a standard for service, responsibility, and initiative
- Engage in continuous learning by adapting to new technologies and participating in development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Provide expert-level AV and IT support for both live events and classroom technology
