The Vice President, Marketing Administration and Talent Planning role is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions that support Marketing activities as well as the Forecasting of Recording expenses across the REPUBLIC Collective’s Labels.
Reporting to the Collective CFO, this position serves as a strategic partner to Label Marketing and A&R Administration leadership, while ensuring effective planning, budgeting, resource allocation, compliance, and operational excellence.
This executive must be able to demonstrate a commitment to artist-first thinking, while building trusted partnerships across all Labels and leading with integrity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with internal label department leads (marketing, commerce, digital, finance and label senior leadership) to develop and execute financial strategies for all marketing initiatives.
- Establish administrative frameworks that enable efficient financial planning, project execution, and financial measurement of marketing and recording initiatives.
- Lead long-term organizational planning, resource forecasting, and operational scalability efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across marketing operations.
Financial Planning & Budget Management
- Oversee annual and quarterly marketing budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee monthly full year recording expense forecasting.
- Ensure effective allocation and management of marketing investments.
- Monitor spending performance and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Manage marketing budgets, inclusive of expense management (T&E) across respective client groups.
- Partner with Finance leadership team to establish controls and governance practices.
Additional responsibilities
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Lead administration of financial systems; oversee end-to-end Uniport process on behalf of Label leadership.
- Lead administration of vendor management and set-up of new artist profiles.
- Oversee campaign approval processes and documentation standards.
- Identify and drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead Impairment analysis process for semi-annual audit reviews.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing operations, business administration, finance, or related functions.
- Experience within music preferred; experience in entertainment, media, technology, or consumer-focused industries helpful.

- Proficient in Excel with the ability to create financial narratives through reporting.
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools (SAP, UniPort, etc.).

- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership.
