The Hughes Center in Danville, Virginia, is seeking a Leader Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for residential treatment services.
Position Highlights
- Full-time employed or independent contractor opportunity
- If employed overall compensation range, $335,000 to $365,000.
- Collegial work environment with strong clinical and administrative support
- Oversight of two experienced, well trained NPs.
- New 96-bed facility with expanded resources
About the Program
- Serves adolescents and young adults ages 13–22
- Provides residential treatment and a day school for students in grades K–12
- Supports individuals with:
- Intellectual disabilities
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD)
- Focused on helping patients build skills for greater independence in their homes, schools, and communities
Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in:
- Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or
- General Psychiatry with extensive Child & Adolescent experience
- Interest in intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and PDD
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia
- 5–6 years of training experience
- Must meet credentialing requirements
