Job Summary
This role supports product growth initiatives across a portfolio of SaaS and ecommerce technology products. The Product Analyst will work closely with product managers, marketing, and sales to help streamline the go to market launch of early stage products.
The role combines quantitative analytical skills and qualitative storytelling skills. Including business model creation and refinement, market research, and voice of customer interviews. This role is ideal for someone early in their career looking for exposure to product strategy, ecommerce platforms, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Strategy Support
Support product managers in evaluating product-market market fit, early-stage opportunity sizing, product performance, and voice of customer
Help document and structure hypotheses for new products and features
Across product, engineering, and marketing and sales to create go to market collateral (talking points, case studies, testimonials, pricing and channels)
Participate in agile product team meetings to understand priorities and track initiatives.
Support agile planning to ensure data and insights are consistently used in iterative decision-making.
Market & Competitive Research
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and ecommerce market dynamics.
Assist in building competitive analyses for products
Monitor changes in customer needs, pricing models, and digital commerce trends.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze internal and external data (customer behavior, market trends, competitive landscape) to support strategic decisions.
Support ad hoc analyses for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Reporting & Storytelling
Develop presentations and materials that communicate insights to business and product leaders
Translate complex data analysis into simple, clear narratives
Support preparation of materials for strategy reviews and updates
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to structure and communicate insights clearly
Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Preferred
Exposure to SaaS, ecommerce, logistics, or digital platforms
Understanding of basic product or business frameworks (e.g., customer segmentation, funnels, SWOT)
Familiarity with SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), or basic data analysis tools
