Job Description
Location: Ware Day Program Closing date: Open until filled
Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience Range: $17 - $24.05. Additional compensation with certification.
Hours: Monday through Thursday 7-hour shifts (7:45-3:00) and off on Fridays. Will need flexibility based on coverage needs for the program
General Description: Assists with activities and group service provision in a day program for clients with behavioral health diagnoses and/or co-occurring conditions. Accomplishes client care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring and evaluating treatment plans and progress; facilitating interdisciplinary approaches, and monitoring client performance. Ware County based but may assist as needed with coverage in both Waycross and Douglas programs.
Qualifications: Level of position I-IV is dependent upon level of experience. 1 - 3 years of professional or personal experience in supporting mental health challenges or individuals with disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in helping field required for level IV qualification. Must be 21 and have valid Georgia's driver's license and have dependable transportation for commuting. Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification preferred but CPS eligibility required. Must be able to obtain certification within one year of hire.
