Job Description
Summary: U.S. Bank is committed to helping customers and communities succeed. The Mutual Fund Administrator role involves supporting the financial and compliance operations of mutual funds and serving as a primary point of contact for assigned fund clients, ensuring accurate and timely management of daily operations and compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operational and compliance activities for assigned funds, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Act as the main liaison for fund clients by coordinating communications and deliverables across internal teams and external service providers
- Monitor and review fund budgets in alignment with contractual agreements, fee proposals, and expense trends
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of financial statements for client shareholders, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and other applicable reporting standards
- Conduct or support portfolio compliance testing and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and prospectus guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect the mutual fund industry and their clients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
