Management Level: P4 Summary This position is directly responsible for managing the sales positioning and value-added product development of Fresh Meats Beef and Processor Products. This includes coordinating sales efforts for these items within the Tyson sales network of national Service Centers to maximize overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group. The position requires interaction on a daily basis with Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims Credit and other internal support groups along with an established external customer base. Maximized sales realizations, optimal inventory position management, value added product development, new customer development and exemplary customer service are primary drivers for this area. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 plus years’ experience or equivalent combination of both. Experience: Experience in meat or commodity sales and protein supply chain management preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint a plus. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills. Special Skills: Creative problem-solving skills are a plus; excellent customer interaction skills goal oriented overall positive and productive approach team player and results driven The successful candidate may be based out of the Springdale, AR, World Headquarters or the Northern New Jersey, area based on business alignment.
