IT DevOps Intern, Summer 2026 at Tyler Technologies in Plano, TX

Summary: Tyler Technologies is seeking an IT DevOps intern for the summer of 2026 to work closely with the Applications DevOps team. The intern will support Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, resolving user issues, creating development tracking projects, and assisting with data migrations. Responsibilities: - Resolve User issues as they come into the Developer Operations Queue - Create development issue tracking projects and troubleshoot access issues - Liaise with IT and related Business Units on solution requirements - Able to execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered - Research and develop plans and tools needed for data migrations from acquisition applications into corporate dev ops applications - Create or update system and architecture documentation as needed - Work with Tyler IT teams to provide advanced support and troubleshooting of external application integrations with corporate developer operations applications Required Qualifications: - Have completed sophomore or junior year of bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or similar - Ability to conduct independent research and present recommendations based upon findings - Familiar with product issue tracking and document repositories - Familiar with automation software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details - Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: - Background in or exposure to user experience principles is helpful - SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python experience preferred - Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA or Confluence software is helpful but not required Required Skills: SQL, PowerShell, Python Important Skills: Atlassian JIRA, Automation software Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Customer service skills, User experience principles Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
