They are seeking a Technical Video Content Intern to create engaging short-form video content that educates and grows their global developer audience. The role involves collaborating with teams to produce developer-centric content and improve technical storytelling skills. Responsibilities: - Ideate, develop, and release a specific short-form video series tailored for social platforms - Assist in growing Twilio's developer audience through short-form video that educates and entertains developers on Twilio's platform (Content Creation) - Develop content concepts, outlines, and scripts for tutorials and explainers (Pre-Production) - Regularly appear on camera to deliver engaging technical content - Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content is technically accurate and aligned with developer needs - Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to review final edits for clarity and quality - Publish and maintain content across Twilio's developer channels and social platforms (Distribution) - Use analytics and feedback to learn and continuously improve your storytelling Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior, preferably studying Computer Science, Communications, Film, or a related field - Basic understanding of how to create and edit short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) - Foundational knowledge of web-based technologies, including but not limited to APIs, and HTTP methods/requests - Proficiency in at least one programming language of your choice - Strong developer empathy and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly - Strong collaboration and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Basic hands-on experience with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar) - Familiarity with tools for screen capture, livestreams, or recordings - Experience working with Airtable or similar tools for content planning and production workflows Required Skills: Video content creation, Programming language proficiency, Web technologies knowledge Important Skills: Video editing tools Nice-to-Have Skills: Developer empathy, collaboration skills, Project management skills Benefits: Competitive pay, Generous time off, Ample parental and wellness leave, Healthcare, A retirement savings program
