Position - Repair Engineer

Location - Pandithanahalli, Tumakuru, Karnataka

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Repair Engineer with an Electronics background to join our RMS Department. The candidate will be responsible for PCB repair, rework, troubleshooting, debugging and soldering activities while ensuring repaired boards meet quality and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PCB rework, repair and soldering activities.
• Identify and troubleshoot PCB and electronic component-related issues.
• Perform debugging and fault analysis of electronic boards.
• Diagnose defects using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Handle component replacement and SMD/through-hole soldering.
• Analyze recurring failures and support corrective actions.
• Ensure repaired PCBs meet required quality and functional standards.
• Maintain proper records of repair and troubleshooting activities.
• Follow ESD, safety, quality and workplace procedures.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.

Educational Qualification

• ITI - Electronics related trade.
• Diploma -Electronics & Communication / Electronics related discipline.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in PCB Rework and Repair.
• Good knowledge of PCB Troubleshooting and Debugging.
• Hands-on experience in Soldering.
• Ability to identify electronic component and circuit-related faults.
• Knowledge of SMD and through-hole components will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment.

Preferred Experience

1+ year of relevant experience in PCB repair, rework, troubleshooting, debugging and soldering.
