Summary: Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah, dedicated to delivering the Word of God through various media channels. The Front-End Web Developer will create and maintain front-end code for websites and mobile apps, collaborating with the Web Team and stakeholders to enhance user experience and project outcomes. Responsibilities: - Develop beautiful, user-friendly pages/features, and improve existing features in coordination with the Web & Mobile Apps Team, as well as stakeholders across the organization - Work with other developers to integrate deep organizational data into imaginative, unforgettable user experiences on the web - Own new projects, taking the lead when necessary to ensure a smooth development cycle from concept to implementation - Communicate project needs, changes, and updates clearly, concisely, and completely Required Qualifications: - 1 to 5 years of web application development experience - MUST have demonstrated proficiency in the following technologies: - Object-oriented programming - PHP (non-WordPress) - JavaScript (jQuery experience preferred) - Experience with third-party API integrations - Experience creating back-end APIs - Design and deployment of relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred) - Demonstrated ability to work well within an agile development team structure - Must be a like-minded believer and share our passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world Preferred Qualifications: - A keen eye for clean, front-end design, represented in a portfolio or links to past work - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems Required Skills: Object-oriented programming, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, API integrations, Back-end API development, Relational database design, MS SQL Server, Agile development Benefits: Generous medical, dental and vision insurance, with voluntary supplemental plans, Health Savings Account (HSA) option, Company-sponsored long-term disability insurance and short-term (outside of CA), Company-sponsored life Insurance, 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer contribution, Eleven paid holidays, Accrued vacation and sick time, Yearly paid time off
