As a Finance Intern within Turnberry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and analysis that drive strategic decision-making. Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or coursework related to real estate finance or investment analysis.
- Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or ARGUS.
- Understanding of real estate market dynamics and leasing processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to real estate assets and leasing activities.
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Conduct market research and analyze real estate trends to provide insights that inform investment and leasing decisions.
- Help maintain and update financial databases and models to track property performance and cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, leasing, and asset management to gather and verify financial data.
