Job Description
The Admissions Counselor will communicate the strengths of School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM) to prospective students in person and through written communication, and provide timely and accurate information about the school. The Admissions Counselor will support recruitment initiatives including follow-up to admission inquiries, management of the recruitment calendar, coverage of recruitment events, and data collection and analysis. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of on-ground and online applications to the (SPHTM). The Admissions Counselor will monitor our admissions technology platform to ensure that applications are advancing as appropriate, and will help to ensure that records for newly admitted students are successfully and correctly entered into Banner and international students are moved through the visa process.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree
OR
High School Diploma/Equivalent and six (6) years relevant experience in sales, admissions, and/or prospect management
Preferred Qualification:
Graduate degree
Experience in admissions and recruitment
Experience with the Banner student data platform and/or Slate admissions platform
Knowledge of admissions procedures in higher education
