They are seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to implement process improvements, data analytics, and risk assessments while collaborating across the organization on various quality-related projects. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with program mentors and champions to identify best methods for streamlining processes - Utilizes a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and to improve yields - Initiates and/or updates documentation of processes into work instructions, training guides and/or certification tests - Provide regular (weekly) updates to program coordinator and corporate leads - Compares existing practices with external benchmarks and industry best practices and proposes appropriate improvements - Maintains knowledge on current industry standards - Leads capital project efforts to resolve Quality issues - Present multiple project updates to the local leadership team Required Qualifications: - Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications - Project management and structured problem solving with the ability to make data-based and ethical decisions - Eagerness to learn quickly - Capability for designing and analyzing experiments utilizing statistical tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong verbal, writing and presentation skills - Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams - Current college junior earning Bachelor's degree in engineering, data analytics, or actuarial sciences Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship experience desired Required Skills: Engineering drawings interpretation, Structured problem solving, Data analysis, Statistical experiment design, Process control, Quality data analytics, Project management Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, Accident benefits, Life insurance, Disability benefits, Paid vacation & holidays
