They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to utilize analysis tools, conduct testing, and enhance testing processes using LabVIEW and Matlab. Responsibilities: - Use LabVIEW & Matlab to control a test system and the collection and analysis of data - Enhance testing using LabView and Matlab programming and by implementing new design elements - Create software routines used for quality control - Enhance image analysis techniques - Responsible for other laboratory duties - Perform thermal finite element analyses (FEA) Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program - Must have completed the following courses: All core Mech Eng Courses, Experimental Analysis, LabVIEW programming, Matlab programming - Good interpersonal and cooperation skills - Computer skills needed: LabVIEW, Matlab, Programming (C#, Java, SQL, C++, or other), MS Office, 3D CAD (Solidworks or Inventor), FEA (ANSYS, Solidworks, etc) - Have the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: - Desired to have completed the following courses: Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Numerical Analysis / Finite Element Analysis, Statics Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Experimental Analysis, LabVIEW programming, Matlab programming, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Numerical Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Statics, Programming, MS Office, 3D CAD, FEA, Cooperation skills Benefits: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment., Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
