EHS - Internship at TRUMPF in Cranbury, NJ

Summary: TRUMPF is a family-run, high-tech company looking for forward thinkers to join their team. They are seeking an intern to understand the manufacturing process of a semiconductor manufacturing company and apply fundamental EHS principles in a hands-on role. Responsibilities: - Conduct chemical inventory and input data into company data base - Update / create new chemical approval procedure - Survey production equipment for utility and chemical usage and discharges and help create database - Assist in revising training material and training existing / new employees Required Qualifications: - Must be currently pursuing a 4-year or greater degree program in Occupation Safety, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering - Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously across numerous departments - Basic understanding of General Industry OSHA standards, and Environmental Regulations - Demonstrated planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Proven analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI a strong plus - Presentation / Report on an improvement project at the end of internship Required Skills: Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences Important Skills: OSHA Standards, Environmental Regulations, Project Management Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical Skills, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Leadership Skills
