Job Description
Summary: Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking an Events Intern to join the Club Operations Department. This role involves supporting the Events Team in planning and executing various events, ensuring quality and coordination for memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
- General support for the Events Team
- Understand individual and team requirements for each event
- Assist in planning events with attention to detail, financial parameters and time constraints
- Research vendors (musicians, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Work with internal and external event planning team members to ensure flawless execution of club and private member events
- Driving department revenue through member interactions and inquiries; specifically inquiries regarding member birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions
- Assist in managing private event operations (prepare venue, coordinate with staff, etc.)
- Assist with coordination and execution of all Club Events
- Assist with planning all details of private events to create memorable experiences for members and guests
- Assist with developing Banquet Event Orders, event schedules and other event documents
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Professional in appearance, attitude and action
- Positive, motivating and team spirited attitude
- Must be available to work some nights and weekends to staff events
- Demonstrable organizational skills, including time management and delivering on deadline
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be creative, imaginative and innovative
- Listens to and considers ideas from others, even when different from own
- Shares all relevant information with others
- Assists teammates who need support to help them succeed
