The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and contribute to various projects while gaining practical accounting experience and understanding cross-entity operations. Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, monthly closings, and the preparation of financial statements - Support data entry, account reviews, general ledger reconciliations, and basic financial reporting - Help document Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) to support process standardization and knowledge transfer - Reconcile bank statements and assist with account tie-outs - Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities - Provide support on special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned Required Qualifications: - Actively pursuing or recently completed a master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field - Completion of higher-level accounting or finance coursework prior to the start of the internship - Advanced Excel skills required; solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word - Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately track, manage, and reconcile data - Capable of resolving variances, troubleshooting discrepancies, and navigating complex accounting scenarios - Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Required Skills: Accounting, Financial Reporting, Journal Entries, Monthly Closings, General Ledger Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Excel, Microsoft Office, Analytical Thinking
