UX Design Intern at Triple Ring Technologies in Newark, CA

Summary: Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. is an innovative research and development company focused on medical device and life science industries. They are seeking a motivated and creative UX Design Intern to support UX design, graphic design, and marketing efforts while contributing to client-facing projects and improving internal processes using AI tools. Responsibilities: - Support UX design activities including wireframing, prototyping, and user research across active client projects - Port and adapt Figma design assets for use in development software in collaboration with the software engineering team - Assist in generating content for marketing purposes, including website copy and social media assets - Leverage AI tools to identify and automate pain points in UX and software workflows - Create and edit web and social media content as needed - Contribute to both billable client projects and internal Triple Ring initiatives Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a degree program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field - Proficiency in Figma (this is a must — please include portfolio samples) - Familiarity with software development workflows and design handoff processes - Experience using or experimenting with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, prompt engineering, automation tools) - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with photo and/or video editing - Familiarity with web and social media content creation - Interest in medical devices, life sciences, or hardware/software product development Required Skills: Figma, UX Design Important Skills: AI tools, Software development workflows Nice-to-Have Skills: Photo editing, Video editing, Content creation, Interest in medical devices Benefits: Hybrid work model
