Job Description
Summary: Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. is an innovative research and development company headquartered in Newark, CA, focusing on the medical device and life science industries. They are seeking a Software Embedded Engineering Intern to design, analyze, and test embedded software for various embedded systems under the guidance of a principal engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complete, accurate, meticulous documentation for each project
- Design software to run on a uC for embedded systems such as robotics, wearable patient monitors, and other medical devices
- Analyze system architecture
- Design SW for debuggability and testability
- Debug, Trouble shoot and perform failure analysis
- Design and build test benches for testing/debugging
- Test and debug on actual hardware using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Write test/characterization plans and execute
Required Qualifications:

- Jr or Sr in Computer Engineering/EE/CS
- C/C++/C# programming skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with broad variety of embedded microcontrollers (e.g., PIC, ARM, Arduino)
- Familiarity with FPGAs as well as mixed-signal designs
