Senior Financial Analyst Location: Mercy Health West Michigan Hospital Campus - Grand Rapids, Mi Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position purpose: Develops andapplyadvanced financial and accounting methodologies to support planning and control across physician practice divisions. Provides financial analysis, performance measurement, anddecision‑supportinsights that guide businessobjectivesandlong‑termplanning for assigned sites, divisions, or the broaderTrinityorganization. Serves as a consultant and systems analyst byidentifyingopportunities to improve information management and recommending integrated approaches for collecting, reporting, andleveragingfinancial and operational data. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 3-5 years’financial analysis experience What the Sr Financial Analyst will do: Perform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision. Support forecasting, multi‑year planning, and monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare revenue, cost, and monthly gain/lossanalysesand other financial performance reports. Partner with senior leadership on reporting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Provide financial guidance and decision‑support to operations leaders. Lead analytical support for strategic and operational projects.
