Shop Assistant at TRILLIUM MACHINE, INC in Sandy, OR

Job Purpose:

To support shop operations and maintain shop appearance.

Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM.

Essential Functions:

• Perform secondary operations on product, deburr, wash, tumble, sand blast, post-process, etc.
• Be responsible for basic machine upkeep, cleaning, coolant maintenance, chip removal, processing, etc.
• Receive and make deliveries.
• Unload material from trucks using a forklift.
• Operate a forklift.
• Janitorial duties.
• Prep material for machines.
• Receive and make deliveries.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Maintain expected quality standards.
• Maintain expected parts per hour quotas.
• Assist senior employees with assigned tasks when required.
• Understand and conform to relevant areas of the quality manual, quality procedures, and training.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in working with your hands. You will be using a burr knife, file, sandpaper, scotchbrite, and other hand tools to deburr product daily.
• Ability to use basic power tools, lawn mower, weed whacker, trimmer, etc.
• Ability to multitask and work independently when required.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• 18+, and must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

• $18-$22 per hour (depends on experience).
