Tri-State Training & Finance is seeking motivated, dependable tax preparation agents to work remotely. If you enjoy helping people, building client relationships, and growing your skills, we want to hear from you!

We welcome experienced tax professionals and applicants interested in becoming tax preparers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns accurately using company software and procedures.
• Collect and review client documents through approved secure systems.
• Communicate with clients about missing information and next steps.
• Follow required due diligence and confidentiality procedures.
• Build your client base through networking, referrals, and marketing.
• Work with your team lead to meet deadlines and complete returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Reliable computer, internet access, and a private workspace.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willingness to complete required training.
• A valid PTIN before preparing federal tax returns for compensation.
• Previous tax preparation experience is a plus.
