Engineering Coop (TKM135) at Trail King Industries in Mitchell, SD

Objective of Position:
The Design Engineer Co-op will support the Engineering staff in all aspects of the engineering
systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.
2. Prepares Bills of Material.
3. Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and/or
cost.
4. Designs new parts/assemblies/systems as directed by experienced designers.
5. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience:
1. Must be enrolled in a two (2) or four (4) year degree program with a drafting, design, or
engineering focus.
Position Qualifications:
1. Must have a basic knowledge of CAD systems with an emphasis on SolidWorks software.
2. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
3. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Must possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
