Co-op, Enterprise Architecture and Governance

The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $22/hour to $31/hour, with final compensation based on the candidate’s completed co-op work terms.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting co-op opportunity in our Enterprise Architecture team within our Information Services department. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced architects to assist in the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies and solutions. This is a contract opportunity, and the individual will report to the Manager of Enterprise Architecture and Manager of IS Planning and Governance.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks and models
- Participate in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions
- Assist in the evaluation of current systems and identification of opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations for solutions
- Participate in the testing and validation of solutions
- Assist in the development of project plans and timelines
What You’ll Bring:
- Enrolled in a College/University Co-op program specializing in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or other related fields
- Demonstrates strong systematic and critical thinking
- Proactively takes initiative
- Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships
- Works well collaboratively and separately
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture fundamentals and frameworks are an asset
- Familiarity of modeling/diagramming tools (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN) is an asset
- Experience with project management and Agile methodologies is an asset
