Project Planning and Management (PPM) Overview:
Support planning and execution of new model projects through cross functional coordination to ensure successful, on-time launch of North American produced vehicles and powertrains. Daily coordination with stakeholders through core project activities to ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Plano, TX
What you’ll be doing
- Process Engineering Change Instructions (ECI): Understand, communicate and process technical information in the system, coordinate implementation cross functionally, identify risks/gaps and generate potential solutions
- Create/support strategy for core project activities: Develop plan of action for assigned tasks to ensure timely execution with built in quality, coordinate stakeholders and track progress
- Project communication: Support project meetings by providing clear and concise visualization of project condition, risk, and outlook to project stakeholders.
- Problem solving: Facilitate working group discussions to gather information and practice analytical thinking to recommend path forward
- Process standardization: Support department in development and execution of standard operating procedures; propose and implement process improvement through Toyota Business Practice (TBP) and Ji Kotei Kanketsu (JKK)
What you bring:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Preferred 3.0 and above GPA
- Must have completed at least one full academic year at a two- or four-year college or university post-high school (sophomore standing or above)
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree program (this includes both two-year and four-year colleges) studying in a business discipline or related field, such as:
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Management
- Operations Management
- Logistics
- Business Administration
- Project Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Engineering Management
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Civil Engineering
