Position: PRN Float MRI Technologist
Schedule: Shifts will vary in Birmingham centers Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday's.
American Health Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-oriented Float MRI Technologist covering our Birmingham, AL offices on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is a PRN position, and candidates must be MRI registered!
What You'll Do
Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
IV certification/skills required.
Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
