Summary: Torch Technologies is a 100% employee-owned company recognized as a great place to work, providing research and engineering services to the Federal Government. They are seeking a Scenario Design Intern for Summer 2026, where interns will gain hands-on experience in scenario design and assist in creating new test designs and products. Responsibilities: - Gain hands-on experience in scenario design - Assist the scenario design team create new test designs and products - Perform analysis of requirements - Test new software - Make basic test scenarios Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance - U.S. Citizen - At least 18 years old - Actively enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited educational institution - In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 - Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the internship Preferred Qualifications: - Desired software experience in the following: SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and MATLAB - Desired technical experience in the following: 3D Modeling, Static Analysis, 3D Printing, Machine Operations - Related project experience preferred Required Skills: SolidWorks, MATLAB, 3D Modeling Important Skills: Static Analysis, 3D Printing, Machine Operations Nice-to-Have Skills: Microsoft Office, Project Experience Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: ESOP participation, 401(k) match and safe-harbor contribution, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Short-term disability, Long-term disability, Flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, Education assistance, Paid time off, Holidays
