Job Description
Summary: Tokyo Electron US Holdings is a subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL), a leader in the semiconductor industry. The Automation Developer/Analyst intern will assist in developing and maintaining software automations that enhance business efficiencies and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and write requirements for automation enhancements
- Collaborate with analysts, programmers, system architects and database administrators in conceptualization and development of new automations
- Liaise with network administrators, business analysts, and other IT specialists to assist in resolving problems with automations or automation platforms
- Analyze and assess existing business automations and procedures
- Develop automations according to specifications
- Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of automations as necessary
- Design, run and monitor automations performance tests on new and existing automations for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Fix bugs and respond to support tickets
- Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
- Conduct research on emerging automation development platforms, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
- Work with data and leverage it to find insights, identify trends, and make recommendations
- Coordinate with IT management to collect data for metrics reporting
- Conduct data analysis for various business initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders in a concise and effective manner
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an accredited university in the field of Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Accuracy and precision
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to learn software and explain it to others
- Familiarity with automation (RPA) platforms and technologies including UiPath as well as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL
