Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and team-oriented nutrition professional to support the growth of our Nutrition Department and contribute to all nutrition-related services. This is an in-person, 20-32-hour-a-week role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Client Assessment: Collaborate with the care team to assess clients’ nutritional needs and provide counseling and education to clients and their families.
- Meal Planning: Work with clients in PHP/RTC programs to develop individualized meal plans that align with their goals and treatment plans.
- Monitoring Intake: Support the tracking of food intake and assist in making adjustments to meal plans as needed for optimal client health.
- Team Support: Partner with Dietary Technicians (DTRs), Dietary Aides, and Registered Dietitians (RDs) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and continuity of care.
- Collaboration: Contribute to team discussions and initiatives to improve nutrition services and client outcomes.
- Staff Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions focused on Nutrition, Eating Disorders and MST to enhance team knowledge and practice.
Registered Dietitian license (North Carolina) required.
One year Experience with/knowledge of eating disorder population is preffered.
