Job Description:
Newly createdfor 2026, this exciting ApprenticeshipProgrammeformsone oftwonew routes into theCentral Loss Prevention Function.OurnewLoss PreventionApprenticeshipProgramme– Systems(Level 3)sits within ourLPSystemsteam-which overseesthe support and administration of our IT Systems for Loss Prevention across our European business.
Over the course of this 18-monthApprenticeshipProgramme–you’llstudy towards the Level 3IT Solutions TechnicianApprenticeship Standard (equivalent to an A-Level qualification) withLearn Tech, a leading provider of Tech training and apprenticeships.Not only will youacquireknowledge of coreIT systems and principles,you’llalsobuildfirst-handexperienceand knowledge ofour business, standards, rules and regulation and within the LP Systemsspace, including:
Learninghow to use the TJX LP Systems-e.g.how to deliver Entry Level 1 type support for issues and basic data configuration elements
Supportingcreation/maintenance of training and support materials such as user guides and knowledge articles for IT support teams
Developingknowledge on the Loss Prevention strategy andobjectivesand understanding of how our Systemssupportsthese
Assistwith collaborating across different teams to support assignedobjectivesand gather system requirements
Who we are looking for
You'llneed a valid and eligible residency status, right to work in England and depending on your immigration status, you may also need todemonstratethatyou'velived continuously in the UK for at least 3 years
5 GCSEs (Grade 4 and above /minimumgrade C or equivalent) or have completed a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
A genuine interest in developing your career inan IT-relatedrole – this could includedemonstrable knowledge / early experience in ITsystemsor software or even a qualification in IT / Computing
Technicalmind-set:Youthrive ontechnical and systemsrelated challengesand will be comfortable providing basic support for systems issues and data configuration elements
