Summary: Tinder is a leading platform focused on human connections with a vast user base. The iOS Engineer Intern will work closely with senior team members to develop and implement new features while contributing to the architecture of the Tinder app. Responsibilities: - Collaborate on the development, implementation and functionality of Tinder's newest features and platform architecture - Build robust, lasting, and scalable products that serve millions of users - Work on systems that handle billions of data events a day - Leverage large scale multi-channel communications to keep users well-informed (push notifications, emails, in-app messaging, and more) - Write unit and integration tests Required Qualifications: - Aspiring iOS developer who's excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology - Proficiency in coding with Swift - Foundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles: data structures and algorithms - Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field Preferred Qualifications: - Prior Internship or work experience on a native mobile application - Completed mobile project experience (i.e. hackathons, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, volunteer coding experience etc.) - Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as MVC, MVVM, Viper etc - Aware of native app development tools/concepts like xcode, core data, core animation, dependency injection, combine, swift UI, UI kit etc. is not required but a bonus Required Skills: Swift, Data structures, Algorithms Important Skills: Mobile application experience, Architecture frameworks Nice-to-Have Skills: Unit testing, Integration testing, Collaboration
