Summary: TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking talented individuals for a Software Engineer Intern position in their Customer Service Platform for the Summer of 2026. The role involves front-end development, technical planning, and optimizing development processes to enhance user experience and satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Responsible for front-end development of the TikTok customer service platform, including but not limited to page interactions, data visualization, and customer service systems - Understand business requirements, capable of tackling technical challenges, and possess certain technical planning and architectural design capabilities - Explore and optimize the development models and process standards of the team to help improve development efficiency and code quality Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline - Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026 - Solid foundation in computer science, proficient in at least one front-end framework (React/Vue), with an understanding of the design philosophy behind the framework - Understand front-end engineering concepts, capable of designing robust system modules and components, with a strong sense of code structure and standardization Preferred Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree program and intending to return to continue studies after completing the internship - Familiarity with Node.js, knowledge of frameworks such as Express/Koa, and prior experience in server-side application development is preferred - Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of actively working with product and design teams to better understand and meet user requirements Required Skills: React, Vue, Node.js, Express, Koa, Front-end development, System module design, Architectural design Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more., Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year)., Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
