Job Description
Summary: Ticketmaster is the global market leader in live event ticketing products and services, and they are seeking a Summer Intern in Artist & Promoter Relations. This role will provide hands-on experience in how tours are planned, launched, and reported on, supporting a global team in the execution of these projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative departmental functions such as internal record-keeping and best practices, managing onsale pipeline, monthly reporting, information gathering + distribution as needed. Ensure correct, timely and accurate delivery of such reports
- Work alongside cross-functional groups, including, but not limited to, event and marketplace operations, event programming, marketing, finance, legal, product, abuse prevention, and others, to initiate and execute tour projects within the constraints of tight, and often fluid, time deadlines
- Take lead on two dedicated intern projects with the ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for music
- Curious – Comfortable asking 'what if?' and eager to learn and explore
- Independent - Self-starter, with a bias toward action and execution. Ability to act autonomously with limited supervision, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Organized – Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with an understanding that hours of work and location of duties may vary based on need
- Collaborative – you thrive in a team environment, comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism and are open to alternative viewpoints
- Empathetic – you listen to understand and connect first before you respond
