Job Description

About thinkbridge
thinkbridge builds the business systems growing companies run on: ERP replacements, connected systems, AI agents inside real workflows and modernized legacy software. We have built custom software for growing companies for more than 12 years.
Today we deliver every system with thinkOne, our method that pairs our experts with our agentic engineering and delivery platform. The platform writes much of the code. Our people understand the client's business, work out the right solution and take it to production. A typical system goes live in about four months. Our commitments to clients are written into the contract before a build starts.

Role Overview: We are hiring a Sales Executive to drive new business for its Private Equity Services Practice, targeting mid-market private equity firms with portfolio companies in the manufacturing sector, generally in the $10 million to $500 million revenue range. This is a quota-carrying, relationship-driven role focused on building a pipeline of PE sponsors and operating partners and converting that pipeline into fund-level and portfolio-company engagements.
The role reports directly to the Head of Growth and works closely with delivery leadership across thinkAI, thinkOne, and thinkTeam to structure and close deals that tie technology investment to measurable EBITDA impact.
What You Will Sell
- Fund-level Center of Excellence engagements – standardized technology strategy, governance, and reporting frameworks deployed across a sponsor's manufacturing portfolio.
- thinkAI – AI-enabled process automation, predictive analytics, and AI-native product capabilities for portfolio companies.
- thinkOne – application modernization, systems consolidation, and data unification that reduces SaaS spend and removes vendor lock-in.
- thinkTeam – flexible, senior-caliber engineering and product talent that scales with portfolio company needs.
- Lifecycle engagements spanning operational diligence, Day One readiness, TSA execution, transformation initiatives, and exit preparation.
What You Will Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market PE firms and operating partners with active or planned investments in manufacturing.
- Develop relationships with deal teams, operating partners, and portfolio company executives to identify value-creation opportunities technology can address.
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal development, and close, on both single-engagement and fund-level CoE deals.
- Partner with delivery leads to translate portfolio company needs into scoped, outcome-based engagements.
- Represent thinkbridge at PE-focused industry events, conferences, and sponsor meetings.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast reporting in coordination with the Head of Growth.
Requirements:
Must have skills
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience selling technology, consulting, or professional services into private equity firms or PE-backed companies.
- Existing relationships with mid-market PE sponsors, operating partners, or portfolio company executives, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, industrials, or distribution.
- Working knowledge of how PE firms evaluate technology as a lever for value creation, including hold-period dynamics, EBITDA-linked reporting, and exit preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex, outcome-based engagements rather than transactional services.
- Comfort navigating both single-company deals and fund-level, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Willingness to travel for sponsor meetings and industry events.
Good to have skills
- Prior experience selling AI, application modernization, or technology talent solutions.
- Familiarity with private equity deal cycles, including diligence, integration, and portfolio operating models.
- Existing network within mid-market PE firms focused on manufacturing sector investments.
