The role involves collaborating with engineers to design and develop AI-driven features, assist in machine learning model development, and participate in code reviews. Responsibilities: - Work alongside Product and SWE team to understand requirements and build standards - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop AI-driven features and applications - Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models under the guidance of senior engineers - Help preprocess, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets using modern data tools and libraries - Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement - Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring the scalability and reliability of AI services - Document technical approaches, experiments, and implementations Required Qualifications: - Experience building RAG applications using frameworks like langchain, langGraph, etc - Good understanding of Language Models such as Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, Nova, Mistral etc - Understanding of LLM evaluation techniques and prompt engineering basics - Effective problem-solving and communication skills - Understands multi-agentic workflows in context for building LLM applications - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++ - Exposure to machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn (coursework or internships accepted) - Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university - Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship - Be at least 18 years of age - Possess unrestricted work authorization - Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work - Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: - Internship, hackathon, research, or personal project experience with AI or machine learning - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience with data visualization libraries/tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Tableau) - Passion for storytelling, entertainment technology, or innovative guest experiences Required Skills: RAG applications, Language Models, Programming languages Important Skills: Machine learning frameworks, Data structures Nice-to-Have Skills: Eagerness to learn Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
